At Free Men and Women Association LLC, our mission is to improve lives and enhance the quality of life for individuals and families in need by providing essential community support and compassionate services within our neighborhoods. We believe that every person deserves access to life’s basic necessities — including housing, showers, storage, food, employment, transportation, and healthcare — and we are committed to empowering people to achieve stability, dignity, and hope for a better future.
At Free Men and Women Association LLC, our vision is to build thriving communities where every individual has the opportunity to live with dignity, stability, and purpose. We are committed to community support that aims to improve lives for all.
We strive to create a world free from poverty and inequality — a world where access to food, shelter, housing, showers, storage, healthcare, and opportunity is recognized as a basic human right, not a privilege.
Our ultimate goal is to empower individuals and families to become self-sufficient, regain independence, and thrive as active members of their communities.
At Free Men and Women Association LLC, we provide a comprehensive range of programs and services aimed at community support to improve lives within our community. Our initiatives include housing assistance, job training, secure storage, bathing facilities, and essential healthcare support. Additionally, we assist individuals in obtaining vital identification documents such as state IDs, birth certificates, and Social Security cards—critical resources that pave the way to employment, housing, and stability.

We provide community support services through the Free Men and Women Association that promote recovery, stability, and wellness with person-centered, strengths-based approaches. Our services, delivered by a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist who has lived experience, focus on goal setting, skill building, self-advocacy, and connection to the community to improve lives!
